Gap Is Being Sued Over Unpaid Rent of Times Square Store

Gap Inc. LawsuitThe list of troubled retailers amid the coronavirus pandemic continues to grow. The latest addition to the list is none other than Gap Inc. The nationwide fashion retailer is being sued by 48th Americas LLC for failure to pay $530,334 USD in fees. These fees include rent for its Times Square store located at 1212 Avenue of the Americas.

Gap Inc. also owns brands such as Banana Republic and Old Navy. The recent troubles are a cause of the coronavirus shutdowns. Lets hope Gap finds a way to pay its bills and avoid bankruptcy or the permanent shut down of its stores.
