It is not uncommon for media outlets to go at each other. Political media outlets do it everyday. But Barstool Sports vs. Vogue? This was unexpected.
Barstool Sports and its founder Dave Portnoy are now at odds with iconic fashion outlet Vogue. It all started with an article written by Emma Specter on vogue.com. Emma threw some shade at Barstool with the following mention:
vogue.com
The article would later be edited as the merch was in fact not from Barstool, but the damage had already been done.
Dave Portnoy got ahold of the mention and tweeted at Vogue with a screenshot of the article mention that indeed….the fight is on.
Since then, Dave has tweeted some minor shots at Vogue but nothing crazy yet. It appears this fight is just starting.
