Fans of Barstool Sports love Dave Portnoy. ‘El Presidente’ as Dave is referred to launched the much anticipated ‘The Dave Portnoy Show With Eddie & Co’ back in the fall of 2020. While the show managed to get a good amount of listens and views, Dave ultimately canceled the show after 101 episodes. Why did the show get canceled? Well here is Dave in his own words:
“The Dave Portnoy showed is…suspended indefinitely. So, I stopped it last week because to be honest it was terrible. Not necessarily Eddie’s fault or my fault its just the subject is stale. We did a show and it was bad…”
Dave continued and confessed:
“I don’t know if it’s coming back or when it’s coming back, but I’m not going to do content that I know stinks.”
Dave revealed the show was canceled back in October of 2022. While the show only had a 2 year run, it managed to obtain over 135,000 subscribers on YouTube. Six months after the cancellation announcement, there is no signs ‘The Dave Portnoy Show’ will return.
