In his most recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Soulja Boy announced he was no longer selling his famous video game console and was now selling soap. In what seemed like an unorthodox move for a rapper to be selling soap, it seems like that move has paid off for Soulja Boy in a big way amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to reports and TMZ, there has been an estimated 3,000 percent increase in the TSS corporation which sells cleaning products.

Soulja Boy’s soap company, The Soap Shop, seems to be experiencing similar results. TMZ sources say profits have tripled without changing anything. Due to the coronavirus, people are looking to clean everything and anything which has resulted in the massive increase in sales.

Soulja Boy told The Breakfast Club of his soap investment, “Once you get into the music industry, you branch out, you know what I’m saying?…Do different stuff, like, try different things, try different business ventures…I got dish detergent. Everybody needs soap.”
