Lil Wayne was facing some serious jail time after pleading guilty to a federal gun charge in December 2020. In fact, Wayne was facing a 10-year sentence. Having previously served some jail time back in 2010, we are sure the “A Milli” rapper did not want to go back in there.
Luckily for Weezy, the 45th president of the United States of America pulled through with a presidential pardon.
TMZ obtain a copy of Donald J. Trump’s officially pardon letter which read:
“Be It Known, That This Day, I, Donald J. Trump, President Of The United States, Pursuant To My Powers Under Article II, Section 2, Clause 1, Of The Constitution Have Granted Unto Dwayne Michael Carter A Full And Unconditional Pardon”
The pardon was filed in a federal court in South Florida. Check out Lil Wayne’s pardon letter signed by Donald Trump below.
