In one of the biggest and most bizarre stories to happen in the sneaker world in a long time, former president Donald J. Trump has announced he will indeed be attending Sneaker Con in Philadelphia today.
The 45th president took to his social media platform Truth Social to make the announcement.
Trump is a polarizing figure whether you agree with his politics or not so the announcement brought controversy to the event. Sneaker Con seemingly made an announcement addressing the controversy with the following post:
Sneaker Con Philadelphia opens its doors today February 17, 2024 at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Trump is expected to address the crowd of sneakerheads around 3 p.m. ET.
