Nike has always been an innovative company and their popular SNKRS app is not one you want to miss out on. Nike is no longer just a major player in shoe stores, they are starting to take over app stores as well. They recently came out with this popular app so we are going to go over six reasons why you should download the Nike SNKRS app!
Exclusive Alerts
Once you download the app and become a member (membership is free) you will get access to daily notifications of different featured shoe deals. Rare shoes are hard to come by on the app, but one W will make up for all the Ls suffered.
Exclusive Merchandise
Members of the SNKRS app will have access to a list of exclusive deals to app members with a different deal each day. These may include hard to find items, app only items, and more. If you see something you like you can set an alert to be notified on the day it is available.
Collection Curation
The app has a profile section that allows you to keep track of both your previous purchases as well as any shoes you selected as a “favorite.”
Exclusive Content
Nike has curated special content that covers topics like the inspiration and heritage behind iconic shoes. The people delivering this content range from community members to Spike Lee to elite Nike endorsed athletes. The content is delivered similar to Instagram Stories and allows you to fast forward every 15 seconds. Current content series on the app include “The Story of Dunk”, “The Drop Off”, “Kickcheck”, “Behind the Design” and more. If you are really into the older shoes they also have a series called “Classic Catalogues” that shows the sales catalogues throughout the years.
Shoe Reservations
Another great feature of the app is the ability to reserve shoes you are interested in on the app and have them available for pickup at a store near you. This is a great way to avoid the worry of standing in line on a launch day only to find out the store didn’t have enough for everyone. They claim that if you reserve a shoe on the app it will create a “seamless launch day experience.”
It’s Not Just Shoes!
Even though the name is SNKRS they have more than that! You can also find Nike branded apparel for both men and women. Things like shirts, hoodies, shorts, and more.
