He’s a Young Man From Florida
Benjamin Kickz was born on October 14, 1999 in Brooklyn, New York. Though born in New York, Benjamin grew up in Florida. He attended Fort Lauderdale high school in Florida.
In 2016, Benjamin and his family relocated to Los Angeles, California as he felt that were “more opportunities, more money involved out there.” That’s right, even though his dad was a real estate pro, it was the child of the family that moved the entire family to the West Coast to pursue opportunity.

He was able to build and expand his business of reselling sneakers through social media and e-commerce.
As you might presume, he is not selling bargain pairs of shoes. While he was on 2Chainz show, Most Expensivest, Benjamin Kickz showed off a rare pair of Chanel shoes that resell for over $12,000.
He also revealed that he was able to scale his business by hiring his classmates to skip school and camp outside of sneaker stores before a release of a limited shoe. He would pay the kids 50-100 dollars and give them the money to purchase the shoes and after they were purchased, the kids would bring them back to Benjamin to resell for steep profits. From there, he realized the potential profits of buying shoes in bulk and has been doing so ever since.

In 2014, Benjamin Kickz got the connection he needed to really improve his business. Thanks to a mutual friend, he was able to meet DJ Khaled, a well known musical producer also from Florida. Selling DJ Khaled a few pairs of shoes was the start to an ongoing friendship between the two. Benjamin was featured multiple times on Khaled’s Snapchat stories which helped fuel his popularity. Since then, Kickz has sold shoes to P.Diddy, Migos, and other entertainers and professional athletes.

In 2015, Benjamin set up his first e-commerce site, sneakerdon.com which is still up and running today. Shortly after setting up his site, DJ Khaled asked him how his business was doing on a Snapchat clip and he replied, “Boomin’” and the rest was history. That became his catch phrase and eventually a spin off website, boomingear.com.
