Ben & Jerry’s will soon be launching a flavor in honor of Colin Kaepernick and his fight for social justice. Called the “Change the Whirled” flavor, the non-diary flavor will be launched in the first quarter of 2021.
The flavor itself will consist of a caramel sunflower butter base with fudge chips as well as graham crackers and chocolate cookie swirls.
100% of Colin Kaepernick’s proceeds will go to Know Your Rights Camp which is dedicated to “the liberation and well-being of Black & Brown communities.”
Colin Kapernick said of his collaboration with Ben & Jerry’s:
“My hope is that this partnership will amplify calls to defund and abolish the police and to invest in futures that can make us safer, healthier and truly free.”
