Ever since ASAP Rocky first burst onto the scene back in the early 2010s, Rocky has not only worn Raf Simons throughout his career but has also name dropped him in his lyrics and even made a song named after him called “RAF”.
When Raf Simons made TIME’s 100 most influential list back in 2017, Rocky wrote his bio:
I feel like Raf Simons is important for the culture based on the fact that he built a whole new religion around fashion. It’s to the point where kids, male and female alike, will get in full arguments over why he’s the greatest. And it’s amazing how his prior work, his archive, is more important and relevant than anything that’s out today.
While the instances where Rocky and Raf have been spotted together have been minimal, the duo was spotted at this year’s Milan Fashion Week. It seems like it may have been the first time Rocky has met Raf in person.
