StockX sneakers will soon be available at Walmart.
Walmart announced that StockX has chosen it as its first marketplace sales channel. Starting this week, StockX sneakers will be available on Walmart.com and the Walmart app.
The initial collection will include hundreds of sneakers, with plans to offer thousands more, including fashion and collectibles, in the coming year.
“This collaboration with Walmart means customers can purchase directly from StockX — which boasts a catalog consisting of more than 200,000 products from hundreds of brands — or discover the items on Walmart.com, where millions of people begin their shopping missions,” StockX said via statement.
Walmart highlighted that this partnership supports its goal of connecting customers to new brands, especially as online sales continue to grow. Walmart Marketplace has seen over 30% sales growth in the past four quarters.
By offering StockX’s products, Walmart reaches more customers, including higher-income shoppers, and expands into new categories like collectibles and resale. StockX sellers will also benefit from increased exposure to Walmart’s vast customer base.
