This year the UFC and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson alongside Under Armour inked a partnership deal for “Project Rock” to become the official shoe of the UFC. In the promotional video announcing the partnership fighters like Colby Covington, Francis Ngannou, and Michael Chandler can seen praising the shoe and partnership.
Our @UFC ✖️ @ProjectRock partnership is anchored in hard work & legacy.
Work ethic & legacy are the pillars of all @UFC athletes.

However, one of UFC’s most popular fighters is not a fan of the footwear deal and that fighter is Nate Diaz. Despite that some of his fight clips where used in the announcement promo video, Nate thinks the shoes “f****** suck.”
During the lead up to his match with Tony Ferguson, Nate was doing an interview Megan Olivi where he suddenly confessed his true feelings towards the UFC x Project Rock shoes.
