Hip Hop icon Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent now has his own day. The city of Hartford, Connecticut just honored fifty with his own day which will now be celebrated every year on August 11.
50 Cent was honored with the milestone by the state’s governor Ned Lamont. Fifty lived in Connecticut for many years in Mike Tyson’s former 52-room mansion. He eventually sold the mansion for $3 million back in 2019.
“In honor of 50 Cent performing at the Xfnity Theatre. I hereby proclaim it 50 Cent Day in the State of Connecticut. Maybe we convinced him to move back to CT” the governor said in a social media post.
