50 Cent Thinks “Depression Is a Luxury”



Mental health has been a hot topic of discussion lately. More and more celebrities have recently began publicly speaking out about their issues with depression. One public figure that recently made some controversial remarks in regards to depression is rap superstar and TV producer 50 Cent.

50 Cent sat down with radio host Big Boy and talked about a variety of topics including his forthcoming “8 Mile” TV show to his thoughts on Elon Musk.

Another topic 50 Cent briefly touched upon was the mental illness known as depression. According to 50, “I think depression is a luxury. Where I’m from you can’t afford to be depressed, you have to pay the bill.”
