Despite rumors and recent reports, there is still no official release date for the much anticipated Gap and YEEZY collaboration. Gap CEO, Sonia Syngal, declined to reveal a release date for the collaboration but did mention Kanye himself would be revealing the release date.
Sonia recently revealed to The New York Times:
“We’re going to let Yeezy himself announce it.”
Sonia also revealed that she has seen some of the products Kanye has been working on and is quite pleased with what she’s seen so far.
Last year, Gap Inc. and Kanye announced a multi-year partnership between the two. Gap Inc. stock quickly shot up after the announcement and is expected to turn the company around after years of declining sales.
