Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is asking fans to dismiss claims made by Erasmo Ciufo, who said he worked on the latest Yeezy x Gosha Rubchinskiy designs.
“I spent a month accomplishing one of my goals, along side with a great team and Ye himself and Gosha! New Yeezy out now” said Erasmo in an Instagram post.
Ye quickly responded to Ciufo, who claims to be a creative director in his own right, with “This person had nothing to do with the graphics Gosha designed.”
Gosha officially joined YZY as the ‘Head of Design’ on December 13, 2023.
Gosha who has collaborated with brands like Burberry and Levi’s, faced controversy in 2018 over claims of inappropriate messages to a 16-year-old boy. His team denied the accusations, calling them false and stemming from a disgruntled model.
