Can you picture ordering pizza while shopping for clothes at Urban Outfitters? Well that soon may be a reality as Urban Outfitters just announced its buying a pizza chain. Urban Outfitters recently acquired the Vetri Family Group of restaurants, which includes the award-winning Pizzeria Vetri.
Urban Outfitters CEO Richard Hayne said the following in regards to the new deal, “Spending on casual dining is expanding rapidly, and thus, we believe there is a tremendous opportunity to expand the Pizzeria Vetri concept.” What do you think about this?
