Why Do Lil Reese and Tekashi 6ix9ine Have Beef?

It is common knowledge that Tekashi 6ix9ine was released on August 2nd after he had been under house arrest for a while. He had originally faced charges for racketeering, possession of a firearm, and other charges to which he was supposed to serve up to a maximum charge of 47 years prison time. However, due to a deal he made for testifying against a violent gang (Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods) he was previously associated with he did not serve the prison time he was originally sentenced to. Since his release, he has been traveling around and enjoying his freedom even with ordinary things like going to the park. He has also been to other cities for example Los Angeles and Chicago.

Tekashi 6ix9ine made a recent visit to Chicago where he created a video to announce his new forthcoming album, TattleTales. He did this on O-block in Chicago. He continued to make jokes. These were about how many people have died on the block while pouring libations for them.

People in Chicago were very displeased with these actions and did not hesitate to say it online. He seemed to have no respect for the lives lost there. However, Lil Reese replied and asked him to be careful that he could also lose his life. Alluding to the fact that he is a β€˜snitch’ and he could get killed for that.

To escalate the beef between Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lil Reese, Tekashi replied by saying that he saw a video of Lil Reese pooping himself about a year ago.

Tekashi 6ix9ine then went ahead and made a video of himself being beaten up with a diaper that had yellow discoloration as would have been if he had pooped himself.

This incident happened when Lil Reese was attacked and due to his Crohn’s disease, he lost control of his bowels. Lil Reese did not reply to his response afterward, however, various rappers from Chicago came to his defense. Lil Durk and King Von commented on that video itself to tell off Tekashi 6ix9ine. This reenactment was not taken well as various artists insisted that it was disrespectful.

Later on, specifically, August 28th, while Tekashi 6ix9ine was still in Chicago he visited the O block. He did this to pay respect to Lil Durk’s cousin Nuski who lost his life on that same street. This seemed to be to take back his actions earlier when he joked about murderers coming for him and laughing about how many people have lost their lives there. Lil Reese has since not responded.

This is not the first run in between these two. Lil Reese and Tekashi 6ix9ine’s beef tracks back from two years ago. This was because Lil Reese insisted that as Tekashi was visiting Chicago he was walking with police. Lil Reese involved other Chicago rappers to discuss the issue on his Instagram live.

The Lil Reese and Tekashi 6ix9ine beef will surely go on for longer. However, Lil Reese has resorted to not indulging Tekashi as it seems to be a clout chasing project to promote his new album coming out soon. Other artists such as Lil Durk also agree and are not discussing the issue. The beef is not being resolved any time soon but hopefully, everybody gets to the end of this safe and alive.
