Streetwear is the most popular fashion style in the world today. From teenagers to high fashion, the influence of streetwear can be seen everywhere and anywhere. That will soon change according to one of the pioneers and leading front men of streetwear, Virgil Abloh. In an interview with Dazed, when Virgil was asked what will happen to streetwear in the 2020s, he responded “I would definitely say it is gonna die, you know? In my mind, how many more T-shirts can we own, how many more hoodies, how many sneakers?” According to Virgil, the 2020s will be dominated by vintage fashion. Virgil continued, “There are so many clothes that are cool that are in vintage shops and it’s just about wearing them.”
