No stranger to collaborations, Virgil Abloh continues his partnership with French luxury brand Baccarat. First founded in 1764, Baccarat is internationally recognized as the leader for high-end, exclusive crystal products.
Virgil Abloh’s latest Baccarat “Crystal Clear” collection consists of flower and table vases. The designs themselves consists of red clasping with crystal chain links attached. Virgil said of his designs, ““the method is to link the crystal chains together or hang them off the edge of a fireplace mantle/edge of a dining table, as one prefers.”
Virgil said in regards to his collaboration with Baccarat:
“In any creative endeavors, I am interested in collaborating with the best in class. For me, Baccarat represents the expression of the dynamism of crystal through history and today. The “Crystal Clear” line of objects is an extension of my art practice, expertly realized by the artisans of Baccarat.”
