The long awaited Super Nintendo World is finally open! After opening delays due to COVID-19, Universal Studios Japan has finally opened up Super Nintendo World.
The opening ceremony was quite the event with the creator of Mario, Shigeru Miyamoto, present at the grandiose occasion.
The ceremony took place at “Super Star Plaza” with iconic Nintendo characters Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Peach present. Shigeru Miyamoto said at the opening:
“This ‘Super Nintendo World’ is a park that realistically reproduces the world of the game Super Mario. When you actually come, you’ll be amazed at the more realistic presence….I would like all generations to experience the world of Mario through their five senses.”
