After much anticipation, the Travis Scott x McDonald’s collaboration is finally here! Today, September 8th, the Travis Scott x McDonald’s meal becomes available nationwide (only in the United States) across participating McDonald’s.
In addition to the Travis Scott x McDonald’s meal, a merchandise collection is also expected to drop sometime today on travisscott.com.
The unexpected collaboration between Travis Scott and McDonald’s will make it the first time in nearly 30 years a celebrity will be on the McDonald’s menu. The last celebrity to do it? None other than Michael Jordan at the prime of his career 28 years ago. However, unlike Michael Jordan’s meal which was only served in Chicago, the Travis Scott meal will be available at McDonald’s restaurants across the country.
Travis Scott said in an official press release regarding the collaboration:
“I couldn’t be more excited to bring the Cactus Jack x McDonald’s collaboration to life…we are bringing together two iconic worlds. Including a charitable component was key for me, and I can’t wait for people to see what we have in store.”
Details of who will be getting the donations as a result of the Travis Scott x McDonald’s collaboration have not yet been revealed.
