The Hollywood star is once again shattering all-time records just like he did during the 90s and 2000s. His latest film Top Gun: Maverick has officially surpassed Avengers: Infinity War at the domestic box office.
The Top Gun sequel has now earned $683 million USD domestically surpassing Infinity War’s $678 million making it the sixth-highest grossing movie in domestic box office history. At the current pace Top Gun: Maverick might also surpass Black Panther with a record of $700 million USD for the number five spot.
To date Top Gun: Maverick has earned over $700 million USD globally despite not being shown in Russian and Chinese movie markets.
