Ticketmaster Plans to Check Your Vaccine Status for Attending Events

Ticketmaster Check Vaccine StatusIn case you hadn’t heard, one of the leading COVID-19 vaccine developers in Pfizer recently announced their vaccine had a 90% efficacy rate on the first clinical trial test. This latest vaccine development has provided hope to those looking to return to normal next year including live event conglomerate Ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster recently revealed to Billboard their intentions to check vaccine status or coronavirus test results for concert attendees next year if indeed live events return. Ticketmaster would need to verify vaccination or negative coronavirus test results for ticket purchasers. Attendees would need to test negative 24 to 72 hours prior to the event date.

Once an attendee is vaccinated or tests negative, they would need to instruct the lab to deliver the results to their health pass company which would then pass on over the results/verification to Ticketmaster. Once Ticketmaster verifies the attendee’s vaccination or test status, they would grant the required credentials needed to access the event.

While the plan has not yet been confirmed and is still in development, intend to verify your COVID-19 status in one way or another to attend Ticketmaster events if live events return next year.
