The Weeknd’s “Tell Your Friends” Might’ve Originally Featured Kanye West and Drake

The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness which was released in 2015, was arguably the biggest album of the year. Now five years later we have evidence that one of the album’s stand out tracks, “Tell Your Friends”, might’ve originally featured two of the biggest names in music being Kanye West and Drake.

While it is difficult to say if the track would’ve been better with Kanye and Drake features, I believe its safe to assume the track would’ve been even more popular with Ye and Drizzy albeit the song was a huge success on its own.

Popular all things Kanye subreddit forum, WestSubEver, just released info of what might be evidence that The Weeknd’s “Tell Your Friends” originally featured Kanye West and Drake. The following screenshot of an alleged GOOD Music insider revealed the following:

The leak of information also hints at the fact Kanye’s “All Day” song was originally French Montana’s.

While it is difficult to confirm this leak of information is in fact true, BOTH Kanye West and Drake ended up releasing their own official remixes after the song’s release.

While Kanye does have official writer and producer credits for the song, it seems Yeezy might’ve dropped some bars on the original version as well.

Would Drake and Kanye features have made the original version of “Tell Your Friends” even better? In my opinion..no. The songs is a classic as it is, but you just never know.
