Summer 2019 will be remembered as the ‘Hot Girl’ and ‘City Boyz’ summer. For those that don’t know what is going on with the ‘Hot Girl Summer’ and ‘City Boy Summer’ movements, let me provide a brief background so you can finally understand what is going on in your Twitter timeline….
This summer, a rivalry between females and males arose about who could possibly have the most fun during summer. Female rapper, Megan Thee Stallion, is credited with coming up with the ‘Hot Girl Summer’ movement at the start of summer and it didn’t take long for guys to respond with their own ‘City Boyz Summer’ movement. So if you are having a ‘City Boyz’ summer, it pretty much means you’re out here having the time of your life and doing these girls dirty all summer long.
However, you can’t be out here having a City Boy summer while your outfits are complete trash. A true City Boy will be out here looking fresh and presentable as he commits his dirty summer deeds. That means you can’t be out here wearing Target clothing and claiming your a City Boy. This brand is specifically for all my City Boyz in the colder states. Timberland has and always will be an iconic brand for all the wild alpha-males. Timberland has also been the staple footwear of young men living in New York City. The Notorious B.I.G. once said, “Doesn’t make sense goin’ to heaven with the goodie goodies / Dressed in white, I like black Timbs and black hoodies.” That means Timberlands are meant for those that don’t give a f***! And not giving a f*** is the true city boy way. So if you are out here wildin having a City Boyz summer, go ahead and rock your Timberlands even if its warm out!

We are not out here trying to break the bank for these ho** by wearing expensive and sometimes ugly brands like Burberry or Banana Republic. While she may want you to wear these type of brands, simply pay her no mind. We out here trying to be comfortable and save money for the things that truly matter in life. Regardless if she is out here criticizing your outfits or claiming you don’t dress nice for her, keep wearing what makes you feel comfortable and looks good on you without having to break the bank. So if you get that late night text from her asking you to come over, no need to dress to impress my dude, just throw on a hoodie and some champion sweatpants and give her that vitamin D and tongue she been asking for.
Summer 2019 is not over. We still have a few weeks left for you to have a memorable City Boyz summer that you can remember years from now when you are finally a tamed married man. For the time being, you cannot let a so-called ‘Hot Girl’ bully and mistreat you as she has all the fun this summer. No, its time to let these girls know who is in charge and always will be.
