NFTs are currently all the rage. For those unfamiliar with NFTs, a non-fungible token is proof of ownership of a digital item in simplest terms.
NFTs of all kinds are being sold for large amounts of money. Jack Dorsey’s first tweet NFT was recently sold for $2.9 million USD. As an artist, why not jump on the NFT craze and cash in on the new digital artwork phenomena?
That is exactly what the popular artist Takashi Murakami has done. The Japanese artist recently created his first-ever NFT art piece in collaboration with Yoshihisa Hashimoto who is a former Sonic Team programmer.
Murakami’s first NFT piece is none other than his signature flower design in 24 x 24 pixel art. Check out Takashipom’s first-ever NFT artwork below.
