A Bathing Ape, more commonly known as simply BAPE, is one of the most famous fashion brands in the world today. Originated by founder, NIGO, over the years BAPE has crossed over from the streetwear industry and has become a global fashion phenomenon. Everyone from Kanye West to kids growing up in Japan wear BAPE clothing. The brand has such a cult like following everybody from painters, artists, and entrepreneurs admire the brand and make their own rendition of the A Bathing Ape brand.
However, this BAPE incident is perhaps the craziest ever in the brand’s existence. In the rarest of scenarios, we saw a gorilla walking in the middle of the street wearing a BAPE hoodie! This street BAPE ape was walking by himself in the middle of nowhere. As soon as we spotted him we started recording but he soon discovered the recording and escaped. We then tried following him and spotted him once again on the side of the freeway. He would make gorilla noises as he ran. You can hear these noises if you listen closely. It was fucking crazy.
We will look for him again as this is the craziest thing in BAPE and fashion history!!! Do you think it was “Big Ape”? Who do you think it was??
