OREO and Lucasfilm have created a special treat for Star Wars fans: Special Edition Star Wars OREO Cookies. These cookies come in two styles: dark side with red creme and light side with blue creme, adding an element of surprise since you won’t know which side you’ve got until you open the pack.
The cookies feature embossed images of Star Wars characters. Dark side packs include Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and a stormtrooper, while light side packs feature Luke Skywalker, Yoda, and Princess Leia. There are 20 characters in total, with 10 appearing in both versions. The creme contains “kyber” sugar crystals, inspired by Lightsaber crystals, for a unique texture and flavor. The packaging showcases artwork by renowned Star Wars artist Greg Hildebrandt.
These special Star Wars OREOs will be available for presale online at oreo.com/starwars starting May 30 and in stores starting June 10, 2024.
