Shawn Stussy is officially coming out of retirement.
The creator of legendary streetwear brand Stussy is relaunching his “S-Double” brand alongside Globe Skateboards. A sign spotted outside Globe headquarters reads:
“Hello Australia and New Zealand: Shawn Stussy checking in…To let you know that I have a new project coming with the Hills Bros and the Globe crew…We are making goods together under my S-DOUBLE mark…We all started working together over 30 years ago…After I retired the tides have changed and shifted and we now find ourselves perched to have another go at it!! Hope you approve and are ready to keep some rackspace open for our work…I am engaged and ready to move the needle once again…Big Aloha”
Shawn Stussy originally launched S-DOUBLE in 2008 after leaving Stussy back in 1996.
