In April 2023, Crocs announced an extended partnership with Salehe Bembury.
The two-year agreement appointed Bembury as the Creative Director for the Crocs x Pollex Pod collection. In collaboration with the Crocs team, he would contribute to the development of new silhouettes. Following the introduction of the Pollex Clog in 2021, Bembury and Crocs unveiled the Pollex Slide in 2023. Now, they are gearing up to launch the Crocs Juniper, the latest addition to the Pollex family.
The Juniper is a noteworthy release as it marks Crocs’ and Bembury’s venture into the realm of sneakers. The Pollex outsole, featuring Bembury’s signature 3D fingerprint motif for traction, immediately stands out.
The launch colorway presents peach uppers with a distinctive squiggly pattern, excluding the perforated holes on the toe box and heel for breathability. To enhance comfort, the ankle collar, sockliner, and tongue are crafted from knitted mesh in light brown. Each pair of Junipers includes a green hangtag, paying homage to Crocs’ signature green hangers.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Juniper is set to debut spring 2024, available on beaspunge.com, crocs.com, and select retailers.
