“Rizz” Is Now in the the Merriam-Webster Dictionary

The oldest and most respected dictionary of the English language has just added over 690 words to their word list as part of their monthly update.

Slang words such as “goated” and “simp” as well as phrases such as “generative AI” were part of this month’s update. Perhaps the most surprising addition this month was the word “rizz”.

Merriam-Webster said of the new additions:

“Signs of a healthy language include words being created, words being borrowed from other languages, and new meanings being given to existing words”

It’s safe to say rizz has officially been goated. If you still don’t know what rizz means, check out the definition below!
