Plenty of celebrities who have succeeded in Hollywood did not complete their education. Many actors and actresses went to high school, but because of their early fame did not manage to attend their high school prom. Some of the common names that are well known for not going to their proms are Miley Cyrus evidently from her early career with Disney, Zendaya as she was attending Dancing With the Stars and many more who skipped prom to attend to their careers.
However, there are also a few rappers who did not go to prom. This a list of some of those rappers:
Russ
Popular rapper Russ did not go to prom. He is known for creating amazing music and spends most of his time by himself and close friends. He also continuously sparks up controversy with opinions he holds strongly. His father had them move from place to place during his childhood due to his career. However, even when they settled Russ had already established his love for his music. He had grown from his seven-year-old lover of songwriting to a full-on aspiring artist by the time he was getting to high school.

Jay-Z

The next rapper on the list who did not go to their high school class prom is Jay-Z. Jay-Z is a successful rapper who managed to go up the ranks without completing his high school education. He dropped out of high school to focus on hustling in the streets. He, however, does not regret dropping out of high school and says it made him who he is now.

The third well known rapper on this list who did not go to their prom is Eminem. In school, due to him moving regularly, he did not have many friends. He was also not doing well in school; he failed many subjects and was often being bullied. He chose to skip school often and eventually followed in the foot steps of Jay-Z and dropped out of high school making him miss his class prom. As soon as he dropped out, he decided to focus entirely on music which worked out pretty well for him.
Nick Cannon

Nick Cannon a man of many talents including rap, comedy, and acting did not go to his prom. However, this was not because he dropped out, he graduated in advance. Since he graduated before his peers, he could not manage to join them for his official class prom. However, he later began attending several other prom events that he was invited to. He was charismatic and well-loved so received several invitations from other students.

This list would not be comprehensive without mentioning the rapper, Drake. Drake was passionate about acting and felt that he needed to begin his career early. His mother did not agree with him and did not see that he would make it in the industry without so much as a diploma. She insisted he stay in school however an opportunity came for him to be on the show Degrassi and she gave in. He soon after dropped out of high school and hence did not come back to go to his class prom. Drake did eventually get his high school diploma at the age of 25.
These rappers may have missed their class prom, but it is safe to say the life paths they chose ended up working out well for them.
