As the 2020 presidential election looms, the Joe Biden and Donald J. Trump campaigns are surely to be the main talking points in media coverage for weeks to come. Despite the fact hip-hop was once a movement that always went against the grain, most voices in hip-hop today follow the mainstream media narrative of supporting the Democratic candidate.
However, a few rappers have recently expressed their dislike for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Here is a list of 4 rappers that dislike Joe Biden or have at least expressed they are disinterested in the Democratic presidential candidate:
Waka Flocka
As those who are familiar with Waka Flocka know, Waka is a free thinker and marches to the beat of his own drum. Waka Flocka recently visited Drink Champs hosted by N.O.R.E and gave his thoughts on both Joe Biden and Donald J. Trump. In his interview, Waka Flocka stated there is no way he is voting for Joe Biden and believes Donald J. Trump is the best CEO. Watch Wacka Flocka talk the two candidates below at 1 hour and 54 minutes:
Chance The Rapper
Chance The Rapper is a holy man. Even though Chance is a long-time friend of Kanye West, we would like to believe Chance The Rapper always tells the truth even when his friends are involved. Chance The Rapper recently stated Kanye West is a better candidate than Joe Biden. Why would Chance The Rapper support his friend with zero political experience over Joe Biden other than the fact he doesn’t think highly of Joe? Kanye West
The whole world knows by now Kanye West is against the Democratic party. In his recent campaign speech in South Carolina, Kanye declared, “Democrats ain’t did sh** for blacks.” Not only does Kanye West dislike Joe Biden, but he is actually running against Joe in the upcoming presidential election.
Despite the fact Kanye missed the deadlines to be on various state ballots, he did qualify for presidential ballot access in 12 states including Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, and Vermont.

Kid Rock
Kid Rock is one of the most known Republican celebrity endorsers. Kid Rock campaigned hard for Donld Trump in 2016 and is doing so again in 2020. Kid Rock also once bashed Taylor Swift for being a Democrat. Joe Biden’s campaign recently condemned the Trump campaign for holding an event in which Kid Rock attended and spoke in support of Donald Trump. Since he is such a devout Republican, there is surely no doubt Kid Rock dislikes Joe Biden.
While Kid Rock is now mostly known as a country signer, he actually rapped at one point. For those of you too young or just unaware that Kid Rock was actually a rapper at one point, check out Kid Rock’s classic “Bawitdaba” below.
