If you are unaware, Ye recently made the claim that the idea for the film Django Unchained was stolen from him after he pitched it to Jamie Foxx and Quentin Tarantino as a music video idea for the song ‘Gold Digger’.
Quentin Tarantino recently sat down with Jimmy Kimmel and was asked to address those claims. This is what he had to say.
While Tarantino did admit there was some truths to Ye’s statements, he ultimately denies that he stole the idea.
However, record producer Mike Dean has a different take. He sides with Ye and said he was there on the day this conversation took place between Ye (then Kanye West) and Tarantino.
