Spare sold more than 1.43 million copies in the United States, Canada and Britain in its first 24 hours including preorders. The vast amount of sales make it the largest first-day sales for any nonfiction book ever published by Penguin Random House which is the world’s largest book publisher.
The autobiography touches on everything from royal family secrets to claims that he killed 25 Taliban fighters in Afghanistan.
