When Playboi Carti first started rapping, few would have imagined that he would one day star in a Givenchy campaign alongside supermodels like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner. But that is exactly what has just taken place.
Playboi Carti is one of the stars of the Givenchy spring/summer 2021 campaign led by new Creative Director Matthew M. Williams. Playboi Carti stars in the campaign alongside Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner as well as supermodels Anok Yai and Liam Powers.
Williams said of the campaign:
“In each of these portraits, a strong character wears a look that reflects who they are: they’re the ones who bring the clothes to life.”
