Nicki Minaj has launched her own line of press-on nails called “Pink Friday Nails”
in collaboration with her longtime nail artist, Yvett G. The line launched with 11 different designs, from flashy to more subtle styles, with the ability to allow customers to choose their preferred shape and length for each design.Minaj decided to create her own nails after becoming a mother and finding it difficult to spend long hours at the salon. She noticed that traditional press-on nails were often too big for her small nail beds. “I have very small nail beds, so normally press-ons are way too big and don’t hit the same” Nicki said. So to address this issue, Nicki decided to launch her own brand offering nails in a variety of shapes, sizes, and polishes.
Many of the designs are inspired by Minaj’s iconic moments, with some featuring up to 400 gems and charms. The brand focuses on creating thick and durable nails, unlike many flimsy press-ons found in the market.
The packaging includes everything needed for application, including nails, glue, adhesive tabs, a cuticle stick, nail file, and alcohol pad. The packaging even features a pull-out drawer for easier access to the nails.
The nails are now available in four shapes and five lengths, priced between $20 and $25 USD at pinkfridaynails.com.
