Whether you like it or not, No Jumper is the hottest brand in the culture today. Point blank period. I’m not talking just the clothing line, I’m talking the entire No Jumper brand from its podcast, to Adam22, to its verbiage. If you want to know where the popularity of the word ‘clout’ came from, it came from them and I don’t want to hear otherwise. No Jumper has the youth and culture on their side just like another legendary brand had at one point…just like Supreme had back in the 90s. Don’t scream and pout at the comparison, its time No Jumper gets their credit and just due. No Jumper is officially the new wave and could well be the Supreme of the future.
Before you tell yourself all of these reasons as to why they will never be Supreme, how about you be subjective for once and listen to an argument as to why why they very well could be. The following reasons are why No Jumper can be the next Supreme one day….
No Jumper Is Multifaceted Just like Supreme
When Supreme started, it wasn’t just about their clothing items it was also about the skating culture. When No Jumper started it wasn’t just about their clothing items, it was also about new wave hip-hop culture. Both brands bring more to the table than just fashion. No Jumper in addition to providing some cool merch, also deliver the self-proclaimed “Coolest Podcast in the World” by its founder Adam22 and judging off numbers, to many people it truly is. The No Jumper podcast and movement has really become the breeding ground for future hip-hop stars. Before these future stars get interviewed by Rolling Stone, they get interviewed by No Jumper.
Both Are Trendsetting
Over the years, Supreme has established many trends. In the modern day today, No Jumper establishes many trends. As mentioned previously, the word ‘clout’ was vastly popularized by the No Jumper team. Up until maybe last year, I never heard anybody say clout unless I scrolled across a No Jumper video and see Adam22 or a fellow crew member say the word. Now everybody says it.
Also, if you see anybody in the United States play with a Kendama it is because of No Jumper. Adam22 is always playing with one of those and now a lot of people are too. Take a stroll down Fairfax or Melrose in Los Angeles, California and you’ll see a kid swinging away trying to balance that thing.
They Respect Who Came Before Them
Supreme’s favorite collections seem to be when they are honoring greats of the past. From Metallica to Michael Jackson, Supreme is always honoring legends. No Jumper while still a fairly new brand in comparison, is already honoring legends of that past as seen by Adam22’s recent willingness to work with hip-hop legend Dame Dash. For those that don’t know, Dame Dash founded Roc-A-Fella records along with Jay-Z and he is part of the reason Jay-Z and Kanye West are who they are today. NOBODY wants to work with Dame Dash not even the people who he came up with due to his arrogance and rough personality, but No Jumper and Adam22 have stepped up to the plate. Adam22 is currently helping Dame Dash with his network (Dame Dash Studios) with a joint podcast between the two. Expect future No Jumper clothing collections to honor greats of the past as well more specifically the artists and individuals they helped bring up such as the late, great XXXTentacion.
Style
When it comes to the actual style of clothing fashion items between Supreme and No Jumper, they are quite similar. While Supreme has obviously graduated to one of the most notorious fashion brands in the world today and has some more polished luxurious items, No Jumper clothing items are still very raw in terms of content on the clothes much like Supreme was in their early days. Back in the day, Supreme had dead bodies on their clothes. The latest No Jumper sweater release has a snow man rolling up a joint. Both brands are brash and bold in their style approach.
So there you have it. Just a few reasons to let you know why the brand that was started by the former BMX rider can very well be the next Supreme one day. If you hadn’t seen the similarities in both brands, hopefully you see them by now. Give credit where credit is due. No Jumper is the underground juggernaut of the present day culture and future. Maybe they too will be worth $1 billion like Supreme is one day.
