The popular Nike Kobe 8 Protro which was first released back in 2012 is coming back with a new colorway. This time around, the Kobe 8 Protro will come in a new “Halo” colorway which was designed with the assistance of Kobe’s widow Vanessa Bryant.
The Halo colorway will come in an all triple-white palette to honor the passing of Kobe. While the overall design will largely stay the same, there are a few updates. The Lunarlon midsole has been replaced with Nike React foam while an embroidered Swoosh will adorn the upper and an embroidered Mamba logo will be on the tongue.
The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Halo” will drop on Kobe Bryant’s birthday on August 23, 2023.
