NIGO has yet to collaborate with Nike despite his impressive portfolio, which includes co-founding A Bathing Ape and founding HUMAN MADE. Nonetheless, he has played with Nike’s footwear offerings in the past, including introducing the BAPE STA as a variation of the Air Force 1 Low.
According to insiders in the sneaker industry, NIGO has signed a deal with Nike and is reportedly working on a new sneaker. No official confirmation has been made, but a recent Instagram post by VERDY showing NIGO wearing the Nike Go FlyEase has fueled the rumor (see photo below). There is no expected release date for any potential products until 2024 at the earliest.
