Kawhi Leonard’s signature New Balance sneaker is about to get more colorful. The KAWHI signature sneaker is about to get a bright makeover thanks to the help of the candy legends over at Jolly Rancher.
The New Balance x Kawhi “Jolly Rancher” collection will come in two colorways which includes “Original Flavors” and “Blue Raspberry” as well as slides in addition to the sneakers.
The shoes have a lot of detail to them as an ode to Kawhi Leonard. On the heel of the shoe is an ‘M’ as well as the latitude and longitude coordinates to Kawhi’s hometown of Moreno Valley, California. His career accolades to date can be found on the tongue of the shoe.
New Balance’s Design Director for Basketball, Jonathan Grondin, said of the New Balance x Kawhi “Jolly Rancher”:
“Working closely with Kawhi on this collaboration infuses more of his personality into his signature collection and allows him to further showcase his style.”
The New Balance x Kawhi “Jolly Rancher” slides will be available for $35 and sneakers for $160 in late October.
For the record…Jolly Ranchers are in fact Kawhi Leanoard’s favorite candy.
