Netflix has just released a trailer for its forthcoming Kanye West documentary Jeen-Yuhs. The documentary was reportedly acquired by Netflix for a whopping $30 million USD.
The documentary was co-directed by Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah who have been friends with Kanye West for the past two decades. Most of the footage for the documentary was acquired by the duo.
In the first trailer released for the documentary, Kanye and Mos Def can be seen rapping their verses from the song “Two Words” which was one of the tracks on The College Dropout. The footage is from 2002.
No official word from Netflix yet on when the documentary will be released, but expect the doc to be released sometime in 2022.
