Social media beef happens everyday. The latest social media beef is none other than Miley Cyrus and Italian fashion designer Dolce & Gabbana. Dolce & Gabbana recently hired Braison Cyrus for Dolce and Gabbana’s 2018 spring/summer show. Miley celebrated her little brother Braison’s runway walk with an Instagram post stating, “I love you Prince Suga Bear and seriously congratulations on your experience! I am so proud of you always…. From Nashville to Italy!”
However, also stated in the Instagram post was a jab at D&G’s political views with Miley saying, “PS D&G, I STRONGLY disagree with your politics… but I do support your company’s effort to celebrate young artists & give them the platform to shine their light for all to see!” Miley’s comment stems from the fact that Dolce & Gabbana was willing to dress First Lady Melania Trump.
The Italian designer quickly responded “for your stupid comment never more work with him.” Dolce & Gabbana continued by saying, “We are Italian and we don’t care about politics and mostly neither about the American one! We make dresses and if you think about doing politics with a post it’s simply ignorant. We don’t need your posts or comments so next time please ignore us!! #boycottdolcegabbana.” No response from Miley to D&G yet. View Miley’s post below.
