LaMelo Ball has officially stepped out of the shadows of Big Baller Brand and has signed with Puma Basketball. With the 2020 NBA Draft just a little over a month away in which LaMelo is expected to be a top 3 draft pick, LaMelo Ball has publicly announced his official brand endorser will be Puma.
In the past few years, Puma Basketball has picked up a lot of new players which includes Kyle Kuzma, Michael Porter Jr, RJ Barrett, and others.
LaMelo said of his new deal with Puma:
“Puma’s been making waves since their comeback to basketball, not just on the court but for the culture…they’re doing big things and are the new wave of hoops.”
In regards to what products LaMelo plans on releasing with Puma he said:
“Puma was a good fit because they tie basketball, music, and fashion so well together and will allow me to really bring my creative vision to life…I don’t want to give too much away, but big things are coming. It’s been fun working with the Puma Hoops design team and I’ll just leave it at that.”
That to me says a signature LaMelo x Puma sneaker is in the works. Stay tuned.
