KAWS is not known to collaborate on many sneakers. Aside from the KAWS x Nike Air Jordan 4 collaboration, the talented designer has stayed away from working on sneakers.
However, a new KAWS shoe collaboration is on the way with the Sacai x Nike LDWaffle sneakers. KAWS took to his Instagram to show himself working on a pair of the Sacai x Nike LDWaffles.
The shoes however will not be a wide release and be up for auction at the Free Arts NYC’s 21st Annual Art Auction. The two pair of sneakers will be available for bidding on October 16 through the Artsy webstore.
