In case you didn’t know, there is an awards ceremony for shoes. Footwear News hosts an annual Footwear News’ Achievement Awards ceremony which celebrates the best footwear of the industry. This year, their “Shoe of the Year” award went to none other than….Kanye West. This year Kanye West alongside Adidas released the Yeezy Boost 750. It was a highly publicized shoe as Mr. West and his celebrity fans were seen sporting the shoe weeks before its release date. When the shoe was officially released to the public, it crashed servers and created overnight lines outside Adidas retailers. The shoe immediately became a top choice of footwear among pop stars, fashionistas and sneakerheads. Congratulations Kanye West and Adidas!
