Jimmy Fallon Reveals Nike “StepLock” Sneaker Pitch

Host of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon is a bigtime sneakerhead. He previously went on Complex’s Sneaker Shopping show and he has a big collection of sneakers.

Jimmy Fallon is such a sneakerhead, that he once pitched a sneaker concept idea to Nike called “StepLock.” The idea behind Jimmy’s StepLock concept was that people would be able to simply step into a shoe and not worry about having to bend down and tie laces.

In the video, Jimmy reveals Nike had already been working on a very similar idea for many years. Fast forward two years from Jimmy’s Nike pitch, and Nike officially announced the Go FlyEase sneaker which is pretty similar in concept to Jimmy’s “StepLock.”

The Nike GoFlyEase will be available February 15, 2021 at nike.com.
