American designer and founder of Fear of God has just been appointed the creative and business strategy director of adidas basketball. As a part of this signing, adidas and Fear of God will launch a new line of apparel and products called Fear of God Athletics.
Jerry Lorenzo had the following to say regarding the new long-term adidas x Fear of God partnership:
“This is a fearless move where shared vision and conviction are at the heart of the accretion of two brands shaping sports and culture, with the purpose to truly multiply our nuanced strengths to revolutionize the performance basketball industry forever.”
Jerry Lorenzo was previously signed with Nike having created the much sought after Air Fear of God 1 back in 2018.
