Jake Paul’s boxing career is now in serious question after losing his first professional match. Despite highlight reel knockouts of Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren, the criticism of Paul was always that he had never faced a pro boxer before. He did this past Sunday and lost.
Jake’s opponent Tommy Fury had a very similar record to Jake. While Jake Paul was 6-0 heading into the fight, Tommy Fury was 8-0 both with perfect undefeated records. Tommy Fury is the younger brother of the heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
While the fight was very close and Jake did manage to put Tommy down in the 7th round, in the end the judges gave it to Tommy via split decision. Check out highlights from the match below!
